New and used bookstores in Bozeman are a staple of our community
When you think about the Bozeman community, you think about all of the individually owned stores, restaurants, and events that share local and cultural traditions, show the history of Bozeman, and treat each person like they are a part of the family. Bozeman’s small businesses are a blend of eclectic old staples and new haunts that are the heart of the valley.
Our community’s three independently owned bookstores are a perfect place to browse, look for your next good read, find a gift for a friend, or research a specific rare book.
Grab a hot cider from a local coffee shop and stroll the aisles of any of these three locations.
Located in historic downtown Bozeman, the Country Bookshelf has two floors of hand-selected volumes. The knowledgeable, caring staff, in combination with author readings, signings and books clubs , make this independent bookstore the perfect place to get involved with the community, pick up a gift for someone you love, or check out the next best book.
Vargo’s Jazz City & Books
